Cardboard Memories is an emerging sports memorabilia company that was created by owner and President Scott Stimell.

At Cardboard Memories, sports memorabilia isn’t just our business—it’s our passion. Founded by longtime collector and industry expert Scott Stimell, Cardboard Memories has become one of Long Island’s most trusted sources for high-quality sports cards and 100% authentic autographed memorabilia.

For more than 30 years, Scott has immersed himself in the world of collecting and he has proudly operated one of Long Island’s premier memorabilia retail stores—built on knowledge, transparency, and a genuine love for the hobby. His reputation for authenticity and integrity has earned the loyalty of collectors, athletes, and fans across the country.

What truly sets Cardboard Memories apart is the personal touch. We work directly with customers, taking the time to explain an item’s origin, authenticity, and long-term value. Every autographed piece is sourced directly from the signer or a trusted partner—never from questionable secondary markets. If Scott doesn’t believe it’s 100% authentic, it doesn’t go on our shelves.

Scott has also served as a consultant for James Spence Authentication (JSA), one of the most respected authentication companies in the industry. His expert eye and decades of experience ensure that each customer buys with complete confidence.
