THIS IS an outstanding piece of memorabilia from the legendary “Amazin’ Mets” and their first World Series championship season. The ball is an Official National League ball bearing league president Warren C. Giles’ facsimile signature and features approximately 25 player autographs in blue ink across the panels.

Signatures include Hall of Famers Tom Seaver and Nolan Ryan, along with 1969 World Series MVP Donn Clendenon, Jerry Koosman, Tug McGraw, Tommie Agee, Cleon Jones, Ron Swoboda, Bud Harrelson, Ed Kranepool, Jerry Grote, Art Shamsky, Gary Gentry, Ed Charles, Ron Taylor, Al Weis, Wayne Garrett, Jim McAndrew, Jack DiLauro, Rod Gaspar, J.C. Martin, Duffy Dyer, Bob Pfeil, Ken Boswell and others represented on the ball.

The 1969 Mets completed one of baseball’s most memorable championship runs, defeating the Baltimore Orioles in five games to capture the franchise’s first World Series title. Clendenon was named World Series MVP after a tremendous series in which he hit three home runs, while Seaver anchored the pitching staff and future Hall of Famer Ryan was part of the championship roster.

The baseball shows age and toning consistent with a vintage signed ball, while many of the autographs remain clearly visible. Please examine all photos carefully for signature placement and overall condition. It comes housed in the pictured protective baseball display with a wooden base and “1969 AMAZIN’ METS” plaque, making it an impressive display piece from one of the most celebrated teams in baseball history.
