In 2004 Taurasi was the #1 Draft Pick to Phenoix Mercury and won WNBA Rookie of the Year. That year she also won an Olympic Gold Medal with USA womens National Basketball Team. She would go on to win 4 more Gold Medals with team USA in as many attempts.
