Item Description - This is a Special Joe E Brown (1891-1973) Louisville Slugger pro model B30 35 inch baseball bat. Extremely rare bat. Joe E Brown was a famous Comedian and actor and a former semi pro baseball player. He turned down a contract from the New York Yankees to pursue his acting career. He later become the New York Yankees TV and Radio broadcaster in 1953. Brown spent TY Cobbs' final days with him before Cobbs' death, discussing his life. Joe E Brown's son, Joe L Brown was the general manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates for over 20 years.
