Pat Kelly Signed Yankees 2009 Game Used Locker Nameplate 91-97 1st OTD Auto COA

This is the original magnetic locker room nameplate was used for former New York Yankees infielder Pat Kelly during the first Old Timers’ Day held at the new Yankee Stadium on July 19, 2009, during the stadium’s inaugural season. THIS WAS OATS ACTUAL NAME PKATE FROM HOS LOCKER After the event, the nameplate was removed directly from Kelly’s locker and later personally signed and inscribed by him with “91-97,” referencing his Yankees playing years, along with “1st OTD New Stadium,” commemorating the first Old Timers’ Day at the new ballpark. PAT GAVE THIS TO SCOTT STIMELL, THE OWNER OF CARDBOARDMEMORIES AND HAND SIGNED A LETTER STATING THAT THIS WAS HIS LACKER AND USED. THE LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY IS ALSO HAND SIGN BY PAT KELLY.

What makes this piece particularly special is its outstanding provenance. The nameplate was obtained by longtime memorabilia collector Scott Stimell, president of Cardboard Memories, who has known Pat Kelly personally for many years. Kelly not only hand-signed the nameplate, but also personally signed and wrote a portion of the accompanying Letter of Authenticity, confirming that the nameplate hung above his locker during the event and was removed directly afterward. The letter is co-signed by both Kelly and Stimell, providing a rare level of direct player-authenticated provenance.

This is a unique piece of Yankees history from the inaugural season of the new Yankee Stadium and represents an exceptional combination of game-used clubhouse memorabilia, player autograph, and documented provenance. Included with the nameplate is the original Letter of Authenticity signed by Pat Kelly and Scott Stimell of Cardboard Memories.
